Multi-awIl winning HipHop/Trap artiste King Illestscored a major win a day ago when his name was enlisted alongside some top African Trap artistes by African Music Promo on Twittter. The Twitter page which is slowly growing momentum for promoting African music as a whole rated King Illest at number 8.
The Top 10 list which focuses on the year 2020 also comprises the likes of Emtee, Rema, Laylizzy, BM Jaay. (See tweet below). African Music Promo also features artistes from different countries on the list making it entirely inclusive.

This is not the first ‘King of the South’ has earned a continental accolade on the social media platform. Few weeks ago, the 2018 Ballentines Zambia Rep also bagged an endorsement by “African Music Promo” for his single “Kakwama” which features Chef 187.
