Wayne Mizinga Haloba alias Mizi Wayne is a Zambian artist, born and bred in the sugar town southside of Zambia, Mazabuka.

His most famous distinctive watchwords are ‘Ndikapongo Meh’ (Am The G.O.A.T) and ‘Moses Waku Cuundu’ (Savior Of The South)

Growing up from an error when African American HipHop and Western Rhythm and Blues (R&B) was conquering the world, Mizi Wayne drawn inspiration from most major western acts.

He has an exceptional artistic body of works with notable features by renowned music artists like P Jay, (MHSRIP) Stevo Rap Guru, Willz Nyopole, Drifta Trek, Dizmo, B Flow and many others. His major music producer’s collaboration are Dj Mzengaman, Big Bizzy (K Army), Mr Stash, Silentte Eraser, Ricore No Doubt, Jerry D, Phatjam Records, Uptown Beats, Dj Plush International, Dre, Dj Costick, Man Chiz and Dj Born.

He has number of songs to his name like Mumpaleko which got him recognition, Munazola, End Game, Mama etc.

 

He represents the hustlers, the strugglers and everyone trying to make it out of the ghetto. His lyricism mostly centres on reality gheto hardship survival and working hard to make it out of the gheto.

Despite challenges in his long musical journey, Mizi Wayne’s undespairing efforts attained him winning music challenges like “Mzenga Nili Na Mau”, B Flow’s “Njelela” challenge etc. He’s also a former XYZ affiliate and an ambassador for Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA) representing Mazabuka district. His biggest dream is seeing Southern Province artists and music equally compete like other regions on a national and international level.
